Comprehensive Bullying Prevention Education is a Necessity

A reminder to any school principal who is planning bullying prevention education for the next school year: An effective program should include students, educators, and parents. In particular, implementing education and policy components for students and educators are most critical. Students can be educated on bullying and ways to render aggression ineffective; however, educators must understand effective approaches for supporting students and resolving issues. And parents need to be aware of how to work in partnership with schools and how to support their children, whether their children are aggressors, bystanders, or targets. Comprehensive education is necessary for bullying prevention to be effective.
